If you delete a booking using Delete button it disappears completely from the system and unfortunately the user won´t be able restore it. All the transactions related to this booking will be deleted as well.


You can always disable this permission in order to minimize the risk of mistake: Setting up Roles and Permissions

The permission that need to be unchecked in this case is Allow deleting bookings and guests



However exists the possibility of re-downloading future bookings from the channels or from our server.


BOOKING.COM


When the connection between the system and Booking.com is working correctly and you receive a new reservation, it will always contain the full guest information:


- Guest first and las name

- Nationality

- E-mail address

- Credit card details  (Only if required and guest put it. In some cases they don't have to do it. E.g. Genuis guests don't have to provide credit card details in some cases).

- Phone and addres (If required by the property)

- Additional info in the booking note


A) If the booking was received correctly by the channel manager and you need to re-download it from our server (e.g. in case it was deleted by mistake) you can do by opening Reservation View / Online Bookings / Download Bookings:




You can leave All channels option or choose the channel you are interested in:




Put the reservation ID and click on Show Bookings button. If there booking was downloaded correctly it will appears below in grey colour. In case there the booking was modified or cancelled you will see more possitions on the list with the information if it was a New Booking, Modification or Cancellation.


Check booking you need to download and click Download button. If the booking was modified few times, you can just download the last modification. It will contain all the necessary informaiton.






B) In case you cannot find the booking on the server you can re-download it directly from Booking.com. However please note that in this case the booking will only contain the guest first and last name, but not the e-mail address, nationality, credit card, address, phone number.


In order to do it click on Show Future Bookings in the same Download Bookings Window.


You will see the list of all future booking from different channels. The green colour means that the booking exists in the system. However the red color means that the booking is pending to be downloaded. Check the box on the left side and click Download button.






Be careful! If you re-download a green booking all the information you have inside the existing reservation will be overwritten and you can loose what you put there before.



HOSTELWORLD.COM


Unfortunately this channel does not give us the possibility of re-downloading future bookings directly from HostelWorld. The reservations from this channel won't appear on Show Future Bookings list as it is in case od Booking.com. The only existing option in this case is to download it from our server in case it was received correctly, but it was deleted by mistake. The process is the same as in the point A described for Booking.com.

EXPEDIA


In case of Expedia the option of re-downloading the booking from our server works the same way like in the two previously mentiond examples.


Regarding re-downloading bookings directly from Expedia, it's not always possible. Depending on the booking check-in date there is a specific time the channel manager has to receive a reservation. Normally the channel manager has 24 hours to retrieve the booking before it is sent via the fallback method of email. However, same day bookings must be retrieved within 30 minutes and next day bookings must be retrieved within 60 minutes. If for some reason the booking is not on the server and the mentioned time already passed, the only way is to create a booking manually.


If the booking was downloaded correctly and it's on our server, it will appear as well on Show Future Bookings list and you will be able to re-download it directly from there, however please note that if you re-download a green booking all the information you have inside the existing reservation will be overwritten and you can lost what you put there before.




HOSTELSCLUB


In case of HostelsClub the option of re-downloading the booking from our server and from the channel works the same way like on Booking.com. You can retrieve them until the check-in date.



DESPEGAR / DECOLAR


In case of HostelsClub the option of re-downloading the booking from our server and from the channel works the same way like on Booking.com. You can retrieve them until the check-in date.


AIRBNB


In case of HostelsClub the option of re-downloading the booking from our server and from the channel works the same way like on Booking.com. You can retrieve them until the check-in date.


AGODA


In case of Agoda the Channel Manager can retrieve the bookings back in 90 days.
