To charge a guest credit card, you need an integration with a payment gateway. Fortunately, FrontDesk Master offers connection with several payment gateways - to activate online payments for your property, please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Once your payment gateway integration is active, you can charge guests' credit cards online, directly from FrontDesk Master.
When a reservation has credit card details, in the Take Payment window you will see an extra green button which gives you an option to charge the credit card through the payment gateway.
On click on the Charge credit card button, the system will ask you to confirm the charge and it will register the transaction.
In case the transaction was not successful, you will see a prompt with information about the rejected transaction. You can check the details about the issue in the reservation's History.
