In order to determine which fields are required for creating a reservation or checking-in a guest please open Property Settings:
Go to General / Reservation Settings. Choose the necessary options and save the changes.
If you try to Save a new reservation and do a check in without the necessary details, the system will let you know about it and will show you which fields you have to fill in.
